This Privacy Policy explains how Just Strive (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our coaching platform (the “Service”). It applies to both individual users and trainers managing clients.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide:
- Account info: name, email, password (hashed), profile photo.
- Profile info: goals, training experience, dietary needs, weight, schedule.
- Plan activity: completed days, missed days, notes, progress logs.
- Trainer-client connection details, if applicable.
- Payment details — processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
Information we collect automatically:
- Device and browser info (user agent, OS, screen size).
- IP address and approximate location for security and abuse prevention.
- Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, errors encountered.
- Cookies and similar technologies for sign-in sessions and preferences.
Information from third parties:
- Profile data when you sign in with Google (name, email, profile picture only).
- Subscription status from Stripe.
3. How we use information
- To generate and adapt your personalized training and meal plans.
- To enable trainers you connect with to view and refine your plan.
- To send transactional emails (sign-in links, OTP codes, password resets, plan adjustments).
- To improve the Service: aggregate analytics, debugging, security monitoring.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
4. AI processing
When the AI Coach generates or adapts your plan, your profile and activity data are processed by automated systems hosted on our infrastructure or by trusted AI providers under contract. We do not allow these providers to use your data to train their public models.
7. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud prevention purposes (e.g., transaction records).
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest where supported, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong unique password and notify us at security@juststrive.app if you suspect a breach.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account settings, or by emailing privacy@juststrive.app.
EU/UK users have rights under the GDPR. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — note that we do not sell or share your data for cross-context advertising.
10. Children's privacy
Just Strive is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
We operate from the United States and use service providers in various countries. By using Just Strive, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. We rely on standard contractual clauses where required.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
